Blockparty Brings Premium Tailgating to the 82nd Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

 

DALLAS, Texas (October 16, 2017) — Blockparty, a fan-focused hospitality and entertainment company, announced today it has entered into an agreement with the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association to become the exclusive tailgating partner for the 82nd Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

Blockparty will offer a variety of tailgate packages to students, alumni, and companies looking to enjoy the tailgating experience without the hassle. Fans will have the option of either purchasing a tent package for their group or an individual ticket into the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Tailgate Club, a communal tailgating space where fans can enjoy the same premium tailgate experiences as private tailgate setups but in a shared environment with an all-inclusive option. Those who purchase tent packages for their group will also have access to the club space to take advantage of its catering and beverage options.

“The Goodyear Cotton Bowl is one of the premiere bowl games in college football, and we’re excited to help take its game-day experience to the next level with our premium tailgating options,” said Blockparty co-founder and CEO Adam Ward. “Fans traveling into North Texas for the game won’t have to worry about finding a great location for their tailgate or any of the setup, we’ll be here to host them and anticipate their every need.”

Private tailgate packages include a 10’ x 10’, 10’ x 20’, and 20’ x 20’ high-peak tailgate tent setups for up to 60 people per party at a reserved tailgate location in Richard Greene Linear Park, located across the street from AT&T Stadium. Full-scale packages include premium lounge furniture, high-end coolers with ice, high-top tables, tables for food and drink, and access to the bellhop service with ability to add on a fan and a media package with HD satellite service and integrated sound bar, for the ultimate game-day experience. 

Blockparty also has a tailgate text service it debuted this fall on its partner campuses across the country to allow fans to access their on-site concierge service. Fans attending the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic will be able to take advantage of this service as well.
